SQUAD 175

Rescue Company 175 operates a 1998 Pierce Heavy Rescue Truck. The primary responsibility of the rescue squad is the rescue of persons trapped, whether it be in an auto accident, an industrial machine, a material collapse or any other predicament a person may find himself or herself in. At a fire scene they carry the equipment necessary to support the extinguishment of the fire, the rescue of victims and the safety of firefighters. One special tool carried is the Fire Department's thermal imaging camera, which can be used to find trapped victims, downed firefighters and the location of fire through heavy smoke. Rescue Company 175 is a rolling toolbox, and their motto is "Just Follow Us."
