ENGINE 143

Engine Company 143 is a 1988 Pierce Arrow pumper. The truck has a 500 gallon booster tank and a 1,250-gallon per minute pump. Engine 143 also serves as a backup rescue for the Washington Volunteer Fire Company. 143 carries a Lukas combination tool for extricating people from their car, as well as four high pressure air bags for lifting heavy objects or automobiles. Engine 143 also serves as the departments mutual aid truck, so when another department needs help, 143 is sent. Engine 143 is maintained by Section Four of the Washington Volunteer Fire Company. They're also known as "The Goosetown Gang".
