TANKER 117

Tanker 117 is a 2001 Freightliner/Semo tanker. It carries 2,000 gallons of water with a 500-gallon per minute pump. Special equipment carried on 117 is a 2,100 gallon portable fold-a-tank. This tank is used in areas where there are no fire hydrants to store water while 117 leaves to refill. Tanker 117 is maintained by Section One of the Washington Volunteer Fire Company. Their motto is "Lead Follow or Get Out of the Way."
